Sports Travel Magazine has nominated both the PRCA's Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and the PBR's Built Ford Tough World Finals for 2008 Sports Travel Awards. The NFR is nominated in the best multi-sport catagory for "recognition of its superior organization and attendance," while the BFTS Finals is nominated in the best single-sport category. If you feel that the NFR and World Finals deserve this award (and they do) then please vote online with the Official Ballot. Read more...

ProRodeo Playoffs on Fox

The Ariat ProRodeo Playoff Series with begin airing first round action of the Caldwell Night Rodeo on September 1st and 4th. Coverage will continue throughout September. CBS will air the ProRodeo Tour Championship (from Dallas) on November 23rd. Please check the television schedule for more details.
Brian Canter Injured and out after Team Shootout Event

PBR bull rider Brian Canter will be out of competition for 4 to 6 weeks after being injured in the Paso Robles Team Shootout in California. Canter suffered a six-inch gash after being kicked in the back of his head. Local doctors fixed the gash and also had to reset and wire-shut Canter's broken jaw. Read more...
